Well, it was a Topaz sort of morning today. I had some trouble with the valley scene...nothing worked. I tried an infrared setting, several bl&w settings...nothing came up that pleased me. I'm still not happy with it, but, it is what it is.
Lyle - The simplified watercolor is so beautiful & I really like the texture of the autumn leaves in the last one
~0lBaldy~ Your second one (the front of the hotel with the red geraniums) has real feeling of depth
Kai - Nifty! Your crop really gives a sense of a big sky. I have a bunch of iPad painting apps but haven't really mastered any of them. Your river scene is quite playful with those branches in the foreground and the dotted textures on the leaves
Veronica - For my edits I found that a touch of HDR (darkening the lights and lightening the darks) really helped...I like your edit of the front of the hotel as well - especially warming it up and giving it a light vignette
alexmeta - You ARE the master of the mixer brush in PS! You've transformed the cold autumn river scene into a work of art
