I started with 2 layers. I ran impressionist a couple of times on the lower layer (custom settings--just playing with the sliders). On the upper layer I started with Buzz ink stack and then virtual painter oil. Set the upper layer to vivid light and reduced opacity. Put a layer on the top and filled with dark brown, ran the texturizer filter, then erased with a grunge brush at low opacity.
San Diego is a lovely California city on the Pacific Ocean, just north of the U.S./Mexico border. This photo by T.Hinov is of one of the local fresh produce markets.
