For what it's worth: Historically Painter upgrades have been pretty buggy. If it was me (and it isn't), I would not leap into an upgrade for a few weeks (or months) until the first wave of "new user bug reports" come in.

If you're among the beta testers or have installed Painter 12, your reports of sucesses, discoveries and/or challenges would be most welcome.

My first report on Corel Painter 12 is that I can't find the controls that I usually use, even after surfing the help files.

Personally I was not impressed with the upgrade from Painter 10 to Painter 11 and associated costs. Not going to jump to Painter 12 until I hear more feedback.

That was my take also. Too much hassle, not much gain.
