    AHB flat

After exhausting my search I decided to ask...I bet it's been asked before.
One of the things I struggle with is many AHB are round our 'dab' or more spiral. Anyone have one that is actually flat and perhaps more square?
I know I can use any brush, but just wondering if anyone has a favorite...or point me to a past link.

    thanks and sorry for redundency.

    Re: AHB flat

One of my favourites is to take a normal hard round brush and flatten it:
    • <F5> (To open Brushes panel)
    • Brush Tip Shape: Set "Roundness" to 10%
    • Shape Dynamics: Set Angle Jitter Control to "Direction"

Now you have a pointy stroke which will follow (well, as much as AHB brushes follow anything!) the principle shapes of the image.

The image attached ("Oleander") was done with this brush (+ post AHB enhancments).

Nice work Ro, thanks for the tip.

Zip- If you look at the standard Photoshop brushes (click the downward triangle to open the Brush Preset Picker, then click the right pointing triangle), one of the sets is Square.
I believe I heard somewhere they make interesting AHB brushes, although I haven't tried it myself.

Photoshop Spatter Brushes - where to find them?
                by Meaty0
                Hello All,

Can anyone tell me in which of PS CS2's brush collections I would find the "Spatter Brush". (Note: I said Spatter not Splatter). Mine doesn't seem to have it

                Oblong Brushes
                by W. Rose
                Hi,
I'm not sure if this is the place to ask this but it was the closest i could find.
Anyway, my problem is that my brushes have turned to a oblong shape in photoshop instead of round. Does anyone know where i go to correct this problem.
Thank you if anyone can help

                Adding brushes to your image
                by DCPhotography
I worked on an image of my daughter a couple of days ago and use some brushes to make the image more dramatic. I use most of my brushes from Deviant Art. Let me know what you think!

                Creating brush tip... how?
                by pjstaley
I saw in someones palette a brush that was not the typical hard round and soft round that is default to photoshop. It began as quite small, then progressively got wider. How was that brush created, or is it a default brush in photoshop? If so, did they put it in an obscure folder somewhere on the disk...

I've got a small problem with some brushes, not on my PC but a friends.
I tried to give this friend some brushes, that work fine for me, but when they install on their comp, no go unfortunately.
I'm using CS2 (XP Pro) and my friend is using PS 7. (Vista)
