Here's a snapshot I took of my son before one of his theatre performances. He did not have a speaking role in the play but I decided to "put" him into a starring role...

Excellent job! I'll bet people listened when he spoke!

In Photoshop, I duplicated the original layer, used the extract tool, then the history brush to fill in what that missed. I lassoed a picture of t he moon from a recent picture, converted the original wall to a brick street, changed the color of the wall, added digital clouds, high lighting from the moon, etc.

          Hard to admit
          by Ed_L
Have you ever thought you did a good job, got an approval from the customer, then noticed you did something very wrong? Let's hear it if you did. This is really hard for me to admit. I created this as a gift for my nephew, who is an avid SpongBob fan.

I took the picture of him during a sleepover while he was playing in my pool, using a telephoto lens from very far away, so he didn't see me do it.

I used Illustrator to draw SpongeBob, the background is captured...

          Old Man
          by Janet Petty
This man can speak about days gone by with all the clarity and recall as if it were yesterday. He made music with Gene Autrey and others. He lived with his grandparents growing up and can tell stories about the area he lives in from its very early history. In fact, he still lives on the same land...

          Powerful Images
          by KenB
I'm quite sure most everyone here understands how powerful an image can be. I thought it might be interesting to know about images anyone has seen that truly touched them, changed their mind about an issue, made them cry, made them laugh.. etc.
Mine is attached, this one completley changed my...
