  • New in town :) I'm Leo PixelPop from Argentina

    Hi Guys!
This is my first post and I'm not sure if this is the right place to start.
I've done a composite this weekend, and I thought I could share it here.
If I'm in the wrong place, please tell me and I'll remove the thread.

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Well, I'm still trying to figure out how to use the forum.

Hi, nice concept, but I think you could have done a better work.. There are some masks that could be improved (the rope and the balloons seem to have an outline), then there are some borders from your imported images showing (can be seen in the bottom-centre), depth of field is not coherent (can be seen between the two books, for example), the man and rope's shadows are not coherent with the lighting, the man should cast a contact shadow on the rope and finally there is a strange artifact on the right (the book page seems to be badly pasted). Oh, and the man's left foot, the one suspended, should be behind the rope to make the image more three-dimensional.

Again, nice and funny concept, but I would put more effort in an image that I plan to sell.

Thank you so much for the feedback!! You are absolutely right on your critics!
Good thing is, it was not supposed to be an image for sale. I came back to the 500px link, and you are right. It's talking about licensing or something. that's just a pic I did for fun.
      Thanks for the heads up!

        Irrational phobia assignment
        by renzoski
This is my first post here in retouch pro. This is my latest piece i worked on for my maps/mattes/masks class here at the art institute of fort lauderdale. The teacher asked us to represent any irrational phobias. It probably took me about 15 hours to finish it....I guess the picture speaks for itself.......

How to ground this image ?
        by buso23
I'm trying to make this composite image attached below, but I'm having troubles grounding it on the grass so that it looks normal. I have the fisherman image on a separate layer and would like to know what is the best method to do this ? Any links to tutorials would also be much appreciated.

Which one of these is "better"?
        by Mark Adams
Working on a project for this week. I've got two versions of this. Version #1 is a more faithful adaptation of the original, but the lighting is wrong.

        FDNY globe #1 is here

Version #2 is lit correctly, but looks "funny" if you're familiar with the orginal....
