Jim Johnston's description of his entry for Restoration Challenge #1 got me interested in the "equalize" command in Photoshop. I read the description, and it sounds handy, but all I was able to do was make things hideous.
The command seems to have no controls besides "entire image" or "selected area".
I look at Jim's work and see it must have value, but at this point it eludes me. Anyone have any input on this?
