Re: Light Leak Repair
Hi, and Welcome to RetouchPro
What Software do you have? If you can see the channels then you will notice that all the damage is in the red channel. This can be fixed in several ways but one of the easiest would be to use a selective adjustment layer. I also added a blank layer set to colour just to finish off.
Total Time less than 5 mins.

Light Leak Repair
Hello all, I am working on retouching a photo of mine that has large light leak down the middle from a crack in my Leica. I've tried fixing it using the method described in the How to fix a Light Leak or Stain post but haven't had any luck with that method. Does anyone have any other ideas? I'm trying to submit the image for a book and feel like the leak takes away from the quality of the photo.
Thanks in advance!Tags: None

However, it seems a bit harder than I imagined it to be. The shadows on the faces of the parents are not that hard to figure out, but the rest is...-

by isabel95...or a brighter image.
I often take pictures in very low light and thus my histograms are missing content on the right side.
I try to replicate the ambient light at the time of capture rather than provide a bright image.
People have remarked that several...-
