Where to find photos to restore for portfolio?

Are there any sources anyone knows of that I can restore their pictures and put them on my portfolio to show the before and after restoration?

I mean I can always try and find people to restore their photos but half the time they don't respond if I can use it on my portfolio or not.

I saw the archive section on this site but wasn't sure if I was allowed to use those pictures and if I need to credit them?

Anyways, if anyone knows please let me know. Thanks a lot.

That's what they're there for. It's good to mention the original image provider if listed, but not required.

Most antique stores have dozens if not hundreds in stock for sale, from$1.00 to$5.00each. Just take the time to dig thru the bodes and you will find lots of great"befores".
