  • Orange spot removal from old photo in PaintShop Pr

Hello, Can any one suggest a method to remove the orange spots from this scanned photograph?
I already used the Fade Correction tool on the original scan, which makes
    the orange spots more visible.
    Thanks.

Not sure in Paint Shop Pro as i use Photoshop.. If you have the option to convert top CMYK you can boost the contrast in the Yellow channel and make selection of the yellow spots as they show up black really nicely. This may help you remove them by painting a blue over the top in colour mode.

Another possibility is to clone over them using "colour" in the clone mode. Im sure there must be at least a few other ways...

It might be easier to change it to B&W and then recolor.

            Hi everyone,
            This is my first post.

I am restoring and old b&W photo. Usually, I use the rubber stamp tool to remove the spots, but this would take me several years. The photo is covered in them. I never used dust and scratches before. Is this...

            by iamjim
How do I remove orange mildew (or small creature excretion) stains from an originally B&W picture without altering the unstained area?

I'm reasonably good with Photoshop and restoring old photos, but this one has me stumped.

This (and several others like it) were...

            by helenovsky
            Hi,

I'm getting some experience scanning old negatives.
However, some negatives have this problem: Yellow spots, especially in lighter colors like sky or walls.

So I am looking for a solution that preserves all colors, without use the brush tool or any other mouse...
