LA Times Photographer Fired for Altering Photo

Interesting, though dangerous. While these photos are mild, opportunity to "color" a situations comes rushing forward. Thankfully the Times did the wise thing. Altering situations such as these is too easy these days. Photographs preserve history, they were not intended to create it.

by Brent HI've been working with this image all day now, and I can't seem to get it to do what I want to do.
For the most part, I'm able to restore large portions of the picture pretty easily, but the tree on the left, the fence on the right and the boy's skin tones keep coming out weird....-
