  • Itty Bitty Actions

Hi everyone...I'm new around here. I've been reading a lot and I love the input and support you all give.

Forgive me if this is a repeat - I tried to search for related topics before posting.

I came across Itty Bitty Actions and I'm wondering if anyone knows how to acheive that look and what the workflow would entail.

    Thanks so much!

Not sure which look you're trying to recreate but the 'new color' action looks to just overlay the original.
    ie.
Duplicate the original, set blend mode to overlay.

Well, I just broke down and bought the actions last week. I wasn't excited to spend $99, but i have to say it's been a great investment. I've been able to proof my galleries so much faster and I'm very happy with the results. They are a great starting point, then I just tweak them to my liking. I like that they still allow for creative control, but at the same time, they are a big time saver.

Can you post something that you have done with Itty Bitty Actions so I can see?

I'll get online tomorrow morning and give you a few examples. I will show you the shot without any adjustments, then apply the actions so you can see only what the action does.

            Actions
            by GaryGornelli
Hi, I was discussing brushing up work to show clients the results at shoots and was told that some photographers run a few actions. Curves, smoothing/sharpening etc. Do any of you? What are they?

Embarasing - I don't know where my actions are
            by Pics2
I didn't know it will cause me problems - Recently I made few actions in Photoshop that I wanted to share with my friends. When I tried to locate them in Explorer, I couldn't find them. I thought they were located in Actions folder in Photoshop, but.
            Where are they?
            I use CS6 Windows.
