Colorization is always tricky, and never moreso than when dealing with faces. We have a natural reaction to faces with anything wrong with them, so a colorization (or any restoration) that might be fine for a car or a house would never fly at the same level if applied to a face.

I've been asked to do some retouch on a 3d car but the fun is they want it to look as it has done a long race like this image:

About 4 weeks ago our car died on us, with it costing more than the car was worth to repair, and with the credit crunch on,not the funds to be able to repair or just go and get another one
so very bravely we have said we will do with out one for a while

would sure appreciate some thoughts on how to make the old car look like it belongs there. not sure about color, and i think it needs the ps equiv of cutting the steering wheel to the left, and nudge the backend in some. what do you think? something looks wrong, don't know just what.
