    I seem to have trouble with noise. Most likely user error. no matter my manual setting on the camera or using auto, I get a fair amount of noise with night time / dark photos. Any recommendations are appreciated.

    I would like to better understand what "noise" is and how to approach troubleshooting it. For example, I am looking more for resources that explain / define the different levels of noise frequency (i.e. high, mid, low), than a particular plugin or app. that reduces it....

    Can not post full pic, but hope this is big enough. Still working on those really dark pictures. This one was taken at night at a football game. I have done a levels adjustment and then I ran it through neat image twice. I still have a good bit of the pixles as noted in posted image.
