Most of the movies that I saw took images of the inner wound, then copy pasted and burned in.
Here is a hi resolution of a stomach wound with a CC license.
I would suggest going out and getting some wound make up and take pictures of it. Or applying the fake wounds before the shoot.
I downloaded some free blood splatter brushes a while back but that really wouldnt help much here.

by IsedoHi, how you solve the bending problem? Please do not talk about noise and all the post stuff. I mean really, like you approach an image and work without bending?

by quadupixI masked out the skin and saved it as Alpha channel and applied a lens blur on it. After applying multiple high-pass to my image I get strange colour tone on the skin edges...dark colour seem to bleed on to the skin.
How do I fix this?
