thx for your answer..i know the picture is really small but it's not possible to post pictures which are bigger than 100 pix..

bleach bypass is a totally different look from the one i'm looking for..bleach bypass is desaturated and very contrasty..nearly to contrasty..i'm looking for that SX-70 polaroid look..

understand, from what can be seen on your small pic, maybe the aim profile/workflow is involved? http://www.retouchpro.com/forums/pho...midt-look.html

not really, sry... the "aim profile method" doesn't really differ from the bleach bypass look..it is nearly the same..

there is a big difference maybe you can see it here on this site

Re: how to create this look

A lot of us don't "know" how that was done, but we have an idea of things we might try to get there. But you could probably do the same yourself. The trick is to get clear on what it is you are seeing. How do you suppose the finished product differs from the original?

Was contrast raised or lowered, and would you raise or lower contrast?

Was color saturation raised or lowered, and how would you do that?

Were any hues shifted, and how would you do that?

              Etc.

Forget the tools for the moment, just describe what changes you think were made to the image. Then think which tools you might use to effect those changes.

If you provide a "before" picture I'll try a few things, but I'm curious to know what you've tried so far.
