tell me what you think, what is good, what is bad?
There's a giraffe growing from her back.... no, seriously, this photo was not good enough to dedicate anytime for retouching. I assume it was a facebook photo. I'm sorry, but at this size it feels like someone who can't retouch asked you to fix the exposure of the image and color cast, you gave it a curve and that's it.
I'm going to say what i have said to you many times before. Get yourself some real images. You will not learn with snapshots.
red in her hair
red streak on her top
floor is 2 different colors
top of the box she is sitting on is way to red
no detail in the black chair
hats lost detail and color
BG too busy
i wish the young lady had her left hand on her knee making her leaning forward
that would have tilt her head a little more.
a better crop would have made her thee focal point. right now my eyes are wondering around to much.
now if you only used her, the boxes, hats, giraffe, floor and a clean wall. i think you could have taken 20 shoots with her posing in many moods.

ME_wwwing ) nice one.. I'll put one for a critic too
I'm kind of between a good photographer and a good Photoshop dabbler, and much of my work reflects that--it's an OK shot, but with some cleanup it's not bad.
I'd appreciate some comments on this bit. It's a "studio" portrait, but I had to do more tweaking than I'd intended...
You may have seen her on the news -- Mei Lan made her debut in front of the cameras today -- Mei Lan is Zoo Atlanta's panda cub who was born in September 2006.
