desaturate to the lvl which you want, add curves layer - move blacks a bit up and to right to achieve washed out black to the lvl which you want, add color fill layer with a warm pink color, put it on opacity like 3% and here you go... you also need to have pretty clean and contrast balanced photo... thats it
This isn't necessarily how I would do it personally. I just want to keep this simple, but anyway.......... Make 2 hue/saturation layers. Top one normal mode lower one softlight. Make the normal mode something like a master -30 saturation. Lower layer in softlight mode go saturation master -100. Fine tune the color via the hue function on master in the softlight tuned layer. If the blacks get too dark you can mask out your shadows partially, or fade the fill on the softlight layer. A selective color or curves layer beneath these can be used to fine tune things like skintones further. These can be grouped and combined with a duotone function or adjustment layer --> photo filter, but duotone is probably more effective for the monochrome thing. Alternatively you can use the saturation and curves from your raw processing software and play with it at that stage. Just make sure you save your settings. These are probably the easiest methods to obtain a starting point on this effect.
