Duplicate as greyscale layer and blend in multiply mode, that should get you started.

Of course you need to compensate for the decrease in luminosity the procedure I told you obviously generates. This goes for colors which is what you asked about.

Now a big part of that work is also down to tonemapping/HDR/Lucis type of treatment but this doesn't concern colors.

I think you should get familiar with all the color/luminance correction means you've got at your disposal, buying a good book on color correction to read before sleeping doesn't hurt.

Have you really no idea how to modify brightness/luminosity of an image?

Hey Ben is just asking for help...if you know the specific answer to his question give it to him...if not then say you don't....just because you read a color book doesn't mean he understands how to achieve this effect. Have a good day...

What do you mean by "compensate for the decrease in luminosity"? How?

One way to do it is go Edit > Convert to Profile > Lab Color, create a Curves layer and raise the Luminosity curve (the L curve).

Another way is to stay in RGB, create a Curves layer and raise both the bottom and the top points of the composite curve (i.e., the main curve, the one you see initially when the curves window pops up -- or of the individual R,G,B channels if you just want to raise the luminosity of a single channel).

What colors? There are many different looks and colors. One way to do it is to use Levels tool for this particular image.
