  • M, Louis Vuitton & Solarization

    Hey guys,

any one knows how to replicate Steven Meisel's style of Madonna in the Louis Vuitton 2009 Ad? (Click the link to see them http://s15.zetaboards.com/The_Other_...pic/6689569/3/ )

What I know is that the solarization has a certain color scheme to it. And so far i know that Steven Meisel uses the Solarization on mostly shadows. Anyway that is all I know.

Also does any one know how to retouch the skin as well? and is there anything else I missed? Thanks. I know this is a lot to ask but please let me know if I am being confusing.

AKMac, Thanks. I wil look into that.

As for anyone that looked into this, you guys have any chance that Steven Meisel used the Curves tool in Photoshop or the gradient tool? If the curve tools, I am having a hard time controlling the colors. Help would be appreciated!

Also in the meantime here are the original photos that I found somewhere on the web. Despite the low resolution, since I couldn't find anything larger, I have been trying to apply the technique on the original photo. It would be awesome if anyone could participate, share what they done and help out.

So here is what I have for the curtain. I tried experimenting around with the Gradient Tool. I tried to replicate the same color on a stock image of a curtain. In my opinion, I think Im in the right direction, since im a beginner on gradient tools. The only thing I have a problem with is the purple color, it looks flat. Tips and advice would be greatly appreciated. Also, Any tips on the gradient tool would be greatly appreciated as well.
