When I create a gradient in PS, why are the ends of the histogram sloped upwards? Shouldn't it be an even distribution on tones and the histogram should be a black rectangle basically? Is it something to do with compensating...08-10-2010, 10:44 PM -
Hi, I'm new here. I'm a student and learning. Could anyone help me understand how this look is achieved? Besides some changes in the colors to be more saturated, it looks as if the pictures have more "lighting"

Can someone tell me the best method to obtain a 2D colour gradient image from sampling an image at different locations. To clarify things, please take a look here.
I obtained the right image bij combining several radial colour gradient images.
