Yes I will do that

We are not trying really fool anyone here. the mission is basically to convince a home owner to spend the money to paint the house.

Re: How can I white wash the bricks on this bulidi
You need to do a little research to learn how to do the basics: make a mask/selection, make a folder, make adjustment layers, etc.
This is what my Layer Pallet for this shot looks like. The background layer is your original shot. White wash is the folder with a mask (revealing the bricks) holding the adjustment layers. You can see the curve. The HSL adj simply has the master channel saturation slider pulled left to -80.
Making a tight, clean mask will be the challenge.
Lemme know if you have any specific questions.Attached Files

That's exactly the look I want . It look very natural. Kudos to you!
I don't know PS as well as I think you assume I do. Would you mind elaborating just a bit more.
Thank you for taking the time to help a stranger and a novice.

White is just desaturation and brightness. I think you should make a folder for your adjustments with a mask limiting the adjustments to the bricks. Inside the folder put a HSL Adj layer with the saturation pulled at or near all the way down, and a curve brightening things right up, and you should be a good way there.
Got an example of the look you're striving for?
Really sloppy masking but I knocked this out in about a minute as described above. Not sure if it's what you have in mind though:Attached Files

It needs to look "white washed" , painted with a semi transparent paint that has faded unevenly.
I've tried the color replacement tool but the bricks just looks gray.
Any ideas would be appreciated.Tags: None
