  • How to get this effect?

    Hi All,
I came across the work of a Russian photographer : http://belyaevasveta.35photo.ru/

The images have have been processed to have a very unique look. I have seen other Russian photographers that have processed their images this way (maybe this style is really in around that region).

Just wondering anyone on this forum has any thought on how to go about achieve this style of processing? Thank you in advance.

    Warm regards,
    David

Um... that look is called bad DNB with lots of saturation.

    Go for this :

    danilgolovkin.com

    yuliagorbachenko.com

But to answer your question... Lots of overlay and curve layers, all over-done, and lots of dnb with little to no precision. It's a mess.

I'm very into russian scene, so if anyone want's to fill the list of their great retochers and photographers, please go for it.

P.S. You might like Lili and Andrey on behance.net, they have a FAR better portfolio than this girl, but are also into surrealism.

Also, I believe this was her reference point:

        http://www.petrovajulian.com/

        Stupid me.

I forgot the main thing. It's painting with low opacity on a separate layer set to color mode using a custom color palette to give it that hand-tinted look.

Yes, and she is much better than the other girl. She also teaches and there are some of her or her student's psds online so you might refer to those as well as contacting her.
