Ditte Isager

Hey Guys,

I'm new to the forums and would like to get some help.

I really like the colours of Ditte Isager (http://www.ditteisager.dk/). I dig the internet to find out how she gets her colours, but not that much information i could get. She uses Nikon D3x with Carl Zeiss lenses, that's all i could get.

Her colour work is wonderful. I tried to achieve similar colour in Lightroom, but couldn't figure it out.

Any idea?

A large portion of what she's doing comes from art direction. IOW, carefully limiting the color pallet in the scene before the shutter is pressed, using desaturated warm/nuetral background hues (think beige) against saturated blues. Greens and reds, where present, are generally desaturated and suppressed.

IN LR you'd go to the HSL color controls and turn down the saturation of most colors relative to blues.

But mostly it's a controlled color pallet from the start.
