Awesome job mike with the composite. How do you go about working out the proportions of the subject to match the background? Is it just a visual estimate or are you following certain rules? Is the background image your own or a stock image. I would like to try doing the same.
I would like to say I had some method, but as you mention, it was just a visual estimate and that background is from a stock site, I was not sure about the lighting, so I just picked a background with some of the characteristics of the lighting scheme.
Hi. I really liked your photo so I decided to make a quick try. Basically I tried to enhance the beautiful lighting you already have, some muscles definition (more) and a little bit of color correction.
Just curious if there are any real high end pros here who would be happy to confirm how long on average they spend on say a magazine cover or high end editorial shot? But there is good thing about it....I can better understand retoucher...and communicate with them...
