  • Serious red eye problem

    Hello,

I have been given a photo to "fix" but the usual tools, PS red eye, desaturate, etc. do not give a very convincing result. The subject has blue eyes.

Any help on a good method to use would be really appreciated.

    Thanks in advance.

Black brush for the eyeris and paint, another layer set to color and paint the eye color.

Thanks very much for your input.

Would you be so kind as to detail the steps?

      Best wishes.

New layer, brush tool paint with black.

New layer, set to color mode, paint with blue.

Thanks. The method is good but recreating an eye is proving to be beyond my skills.

The easiest way would be to borrow some blue eyes from another picture and copy paste resize over this one. You will need to paint out the red first then add the new eyes to a layer and probably blur and add noise to match your original

The only thing you can do, as has been said, is to add "new eyes"

Wow, the quality of that JPG is horrible. You just have to steal an eye somewhere else and add a bunch of noise to it so it can match.

I don't think retouching these types of images are really worth it though, my opinion~

If you wanted proof of the old saying about if you can do it in PS, you can do it at least five different ways, here is the proof:

This is one thing I have a lot of trouble with. I'm using PSP X and don't like the results with the red eye removal tool. I've tried a couple tutorials and haven't been pleased with them either.
Here is a shot of my grand daughter's eyes. Any suggestions?

Hi, can someone help me fix up this picture? I would like to get rid of my red-eye and reduce the shiny-ness on our faces. Any other updates would be greatly appreciated as well.

                    Thank you!!

                    Red Eye Tool
                    by nebgranny
Going to post this one here. As you probably can tell I have been working on old pictures the past few days. Well this afternoon I needed to do some work on a few red eyes in some of the pictures we took on our trip.

Can someone tell me why when I go to fix some pics with the red eye...
