  • Skin of very old person

I have a color portrait shot of wife's 93-year-old mother. Her skin is deeply creased with brown patches (she's Caucasian) but appears to retain a good moist texture. I'm looking for advice on how best to render it: I want to be complimentary while retaining realism. Any advice is welcome -- I'm an amateur with experience restoring old photos. Thanks!

One thing I can say:smooth out nothing and blur nothing.

      Hi All......

This is an old photo of my sweet mother-in-law (on the left) and her sister. It was taken in 1943 and I've colorized it but something seems 'lacking' .... maybe they're too pasty or something ........ I've even made one with a final Soft Light layer but hubby says to use...

      Hi

I am working on the below composite. Any ideas on how to improve it?

N.B. The composite has a picture of a guy with an open flesh wound so I thought I'd warn anyone who does not want to see that kind of thing.

      Thanks

Can you bring this plastic skin to life?

The skin looks Dry so, Artify, Modify, fix her Eye, or beautify.

Give her Appeal and make her Feel so Real She'll Squeal with Zeal.

Clothes, Makeup, Shampoo and set curls or waves I don't care!....

      Hi!

First, let me say that I'm so pleased to have found this forum. I've been doing projects in Photoshop for a while, but recently began serious restoration for OPR, a great NPO, as a volunteer.

I'm working on a photo now, and would like some help and feedback, if you're willing....
