Is this blur straight from camera or added in post

really love the look of this shoot

any thoughts on how the color correction was achieved? also their seems to be some motion blur in the background but the models are sharp - am i right in thinking it was added in post or could it have been done in camera - thanks for any help

Motion definitely, maybe in combo with other things.

You do realize that blur is such a tiny fragment of work that went into these images? It's not "hey let's blur it, that is cool", but more likely "how do we direct viewers attention". Don't worry about the blur, look at the tonal and color palette, composition.

Post, like mentioned try combo of lens and motion. Add low values selectively with of example lasso tool, build the effect up gradually. Put grain(noise) on top

Nik software Analog efx can emulate all the looks in your example

well clearly color correction plugs highlights and shadows with pure hue... it can be done in several ways... the contrast curve is selective I think... you have a very flat background with light shadows while retaining very bright whites and details in the dress...
