  • Cleaning Up Shoe-Soles

    Hi,

i have a problem often if we use the model's private shoes that they look like this? Is there a quick tip to get this fixed an let them look like new one?

    Thanks a lot!

No. There is no quick way. It's tedious with patterns because it can be an iterative process to get things right. If you aren't going to see much of it, this might be feasible. That won't change if people post their quick fix strategies, because there are too many different edge cases when it comes to defined patterns like this one.

Uh.Oh. Nothing but a lot of donkey work to repair those features. My first call would be to ask the client for the shoe and take another shot myself at the same orientation. It doesn't even have to be a great shot so long as its a better start point. Used to do that a lot at one time even if I had to go and buy the shoe from a store. Saved heaps of time.

I sometimes do a quick search online for soles and just swap them out, unless you are selling the shoe no one will care.
