If you are looking for free product images to be retouched then you should take some photos by yourself! Yes besides that you can search some photos which are available to use at free of cost as well.
Are you looking for clients here? Then you wont get much help, but as you have mentioned you can try these freelancing sites for work.
We have practice image packs of product photography available on our site in the resources section. All images are 36MP to 80MP DNGs and are under $15 per pack. Check them out if you need high quality product images to work on.
