  • how do you fix an ombre effect?

I have trouble with this suit that is an ombre fabric that throws 2 colors under the lights because of the 2 color weave. I don't seem to be able to get it to one color "blue". I tried playing with the HSL sliders or on a layer set to color to paint in the blue. I can only recover the color minimally. Uploaded is the original and one that I've fixed without much difference.
Has anyone got a solution on how to fix it? Thanks for your help.

I'm not sure I see the problem. Could you point out the places where you're seeing two different colors?

      Fixed_pattern.jpg

Mask out the area, and simply create an adjustment layer that affects color, like curves, selective color, color balance, hue/saturation, levels etc.

        It's saturation problem not color

          Hi Woofw
          Here is my approach

Apply a solid color Layer above your original with color set to a sampled pixel area on the suit that you prefer. Have this Layer set to blend of Color
Mask this Layer to just the suit area.

Them create an HSL adjustment Layer on top that is set to be a clipping mask so it only adjusts the solid color Layer below.

Adjust the HSL adjustment Layer to fine tune the color you want.

          Hope this helps
