Depending on how bad you need the PS7 functionality, you might consider holding off until Adobe releases PS8 sometime in the next 6-9 months.

When PS7 came out, it was offered for $149 - $50 rebate from Amazon.com (for a few months).

    Photoshop 7

Does anyone know where I can get ahold of Photoshop 7 for a low, low price. I am so frustrated with PS 6 and PSP 7 that I could just give it all up. There are some things in PS 7 that I could use in my business that PS 6 doesn't have. The unofrtunate thing is that business is slow right now and I cannot afford to shell out FULL PRICE. I am so broke, I forgot what money looks like. Well I guess this isn't the place to cry on everyone's shoulders. Forgive me as I am just frustrated right now. Anyway, thanks to everyone that has been so nice to me heere. I do appreciate it. If you do know where I can get PS 7 CHEAP, please let me know. That would derfinately make things better for me .........CYAL8TR

I'm so happy... I can't say how happy but I finally managed to get Photoshop 7 and hundreds of plugins. I hope everyone will write good descriptions of what they do with their pictures so I can follow along. Not that I want to copy your work but it's the best way I know to learn. I'm so used to Paint...

Anyone Here Switched from PSP to PS

I need a program mainly to:

    restore old photos
    improve current photos
    fool around
    create artistic masterpieces

I have no interest in creating web pages.

I find psp to be quite powerful for these needs, and I'm comfortable using it. But...

    The Photoshop CS Rip-off
    by tom langford
    Hi,

I'm a professional retoucher and photographer, and recently joined RetouchPro.

I've used Photoshop every day for years and I'm dismayed at how much of a rip-off each new upgrade has become. I'm presently using version 7, and checked out CS2 to see if it was worth upgrading....
