    can somebody explain me how to retouch and color grade a picture like this? this style is very common at the moment. thank you for your feedbacks. best, padi

    I did this with a selective color adjustment layer in Photoshop. Depending on the image, other tools might be need, especially curves.

          Here are three options. One with just a contrast adjustment. One with contrast and Sabrina81's sky mask, and one with a lighter sky and Sabrina81's mask.

                I wonder if Selective color can get an effect like this, shadows get a reddish tint.

                I normaly use a set of curves to widen the tonal range.
