vintage lens for hasselblad 500/501 C/M

Hello Folks!
few years ago I bought a vintage Carl Zeiss Sonnar 150 mm f/4. Shame on me, I didn't use so far! So I'm not sure that old lenses (are they coated?) are having a good quality, but I wish to shoot some portrait or beauty with it.
Someone of you (I'm sure!) can give me some advice and may be a link to a manual. Thanks in advance! Paolo.

It's a great portrait lens. If it has a T* mark somewhere by the filter mount then it's coated. If it's not coated it is subject to flare, so be sure to use the shade and flags to block your lights from striking the lens. If you shade the lens well you'll get great results.

Agree with Flashtones, but why would you need a manual for a lens ? ?
