  • RetouchPRO LIVE 11/18/14

Our first new-format RetouchPRO LIVE show was so successful we decided to do another right away. Same time, different day of the week. Still free.

Join professional photoillustrator Steve Caplin and myself as he answers your questions about how to do anything in Photoshop. While everyone is uploading Steve will begin by demoing how the Select > Shadows dialog can be used to produce an instant day-for-night effect. But after that it's all about solving audience problems.

Our upload page for audience files worked wonderfully, and we're looking forward to seeing even more of your images. You can't beat a free opportunity to have an acknowledged Photoshop expert help you with your own images.

Please invite your friends, other forums, etc. The more in the audience, the better the show.

Here's the technique for Rob I was trying to remember during the show. It's a great way to cover lots of tiny flaws:

          1. Blur image
          2. Copy all as pattern, revert original to unblurred
          3. Healing brush/pattern/aligned
          4. alt-click to choose sample area
          5. paint
