As a volunteer for a small county historical society in Michigan, I do photo digitization (mainly negatives, and with a camera rather than scanner) and restoration (secondary to just preserving the originals, many of which are on nitrate). To edit the images I use Photoshop Elements, which I feel is adequate for my purposes. In fact, despite having worked with it a lot over the past six years or so, I'm still learning how to get more out of it. Any chance of Steve Caplin doing some tutorials with Elements? Or am I nuts for not moving on to CC?

by DiyaEvery time I start up my organizer it updates. It usually takes about 3-5 min. to update. It has just started doing this and has never done it before. Anyone have an idea why it is doing this?
Thanks, Diya-

by Doug NelsonI hadn't heard of this before, and I know many of you own both Elements and Photoshop (plus Elements is so inexpensive this might be worth buying it just for this), so I asked for permission from Daryl Pritchard to repost this.
For those who don't know, Elements has an excellent panorama...-
