RetouchPRO LIVE with Steve Caplin

During our last show with Steve Caplin, I announced our new Title Card Contest. Steve being Steve, he got very enthusiastic and decided to enter the contest himself.
He enjoyed making it so much he asked if he could demonstrate how he created it on our next show (or perhaps he wanted to guarantee we used his entry).
And again, Steve being Steve, this is much more complex than it appears. So of course I agreed. The reason for the unseen complexity is that Steve set himself the challenge of making the title card with no photographs or pre-existing textures or patterns. Every pixel is created completely within Photoshop, including the curtains and microphone.
So on Wednesday's RetouchPRO LIVE watch the screen of photo-illustrator Steve Caplin as he builds this image from scratch, using only Photoshop's built-in tools. The only hint he would give me in advance is he does use a displacement map, so that will be interesting to see.
After Steve's demonstration, we'll open it up to general audience questions about how to do anything in Photoshop. You can upload images if that helps with your question. Please upload your files before showtime. The access code for uploading is "titlecard" and please follow the rules.
There's no need to shrink your files, you can even include your layers if you like.
