It's rare that a lightbulb moment is caused by an actual lightbulb, but a user uploaded some images that got Steve Caplin's creativity going (thank you James Arendell). One of these was the lightbulb image you see attached.

Steve wondered if he couldn't replicate that lightbulb as a 3D object using only Photoshop's native 3D tools. I jumped on this as a wonderful complement to the shows Steve and I have already done on 3D Navigation and 3D Integration.

So join us on our next RetouchPRO LIVE as photoillustrator Steve Caplin replicates this photo of a lightbulb as an actual 3D lightbulb using only Photoshop.

Steve will stick around afterwards to answer any Photoshop questions you may have. You can upload a file if you want to ask about a specific photo problem you have. The access code is "lightbulb" (no quotes).
