I knew you weren't all out of tutorial techniques. There is a *big* difference between the before and after. Thank you very much. I won't comment on all the new tutorials except to say that they're all first class, and very useable. Thanks for helping fill my new hard drive with tuts.

I tried this technique to retouch acne. I did everything as laid out in the tutorial - even the mask to eliminate the blotching.
It looks great on the screen but when I had it printed (on pro equipment), you see a redish uneveness to the finished image. It's almost like a very slight posterization effect.
Any ideas as to how to eliminate this problem?
thanks,

Jack,
I didn't have any problems with mine when I printed it out - it looked just like it did on the screen.
What equipment did you have it printed on? Can you post a sample of what you ended up with? What was your final resolution? What file type did you send to the printer?
Not sure if I can figure out what went wrong for you, but I can give it a shot.
I'll be out of town for the rest of the week but can have a look when I get back...

by roger_eleThis tutorial focuses just on the blend-if sliders in Photoshop. I put this in the "The Basic" category because my goal was to write this tutorial clearly enough for all experience levels (and there is not an advanced category). [details]

by SteveB2005Hello Doug. I have several of my original Photoshop CS2 tutorials that deal with several techniques and I would like to put one up here, but not sure how to go about it. I went under the publishing system flyout menu and I am not sure how to embed a QT mov tutorial. Can you link me to some help?...

by Doug NelsonThis is addressed to all the fraidycats that don't think their skill is up to snuff enough to write a tutorial:
There are no new ideas in retouching. Well, that's not true. But there are very few new ideas in retouching. Wait, that's not true either. Ok, there are lots of new ideas in...-
