Can you believe it? Another tutorial from Jakaleena, her second one today. And it's an excellent one on how to make your selections more accurate using Quick Mask.

Three!! You're on a roll Girl. Don't stop now. Looks like you may have the latest challenge done soon if these examples are any hint.

Stay tuned for our next tutorial by Jak, titled "Where I Get The Energy From To Do All These Tutorials"

Nope, gonna call it "Why I have no life, and what I do instead!"

And as for that latest challenge - don't be a holdin' yer breath. It's HARD! Which is basically why I'm fritterin' away my time with tuts instead. (I also have a tut planned entitled, "How and when to procrastinate effectively" - lol)

        Great tutorial Jakaleena,

I'd just like to add that for step number 4 (to toggle between black and white) it's sometimes easier to use the keyboard shortcut "x". That way you don't have to take your eyes off your work to find that (bent arrow)

Thanks Ron! That is just completely Neat-O! I am trying to get those shortcuts all memorized and that one's gonna really help speed things up!

Are you qualified to write something like that? I'll be waiting for it......for a very long time.

Where is that procrastination tutorial? I have been here only an hour and I'm already finding things which haven't been done on time. Pshaw !!!!!

Thank you for a very nice tutorial, Jak. I always do my selections directly in QM mode, and never bother with the lasso. But then this is for "art" work, and I find the feathering effect keeps the retouching discreet, when you apply an effect later to the selection.
