Hi, some time ago I opened a thread as I was working on an old docment, and the main challenge was to extract the italics letter and make them readable. I had to play with layers and so on, as indicated by people in this group. Now that is OK, but the background color is an ugly brown.

This is a Photomatix exposure fusion (not HDR) composite of 3 exposures. I know I was going to get a crazy color cast so I put that white card on the floor hoping that clicking on it with levels/curves white dropper would fix the color. It didn't. I am having an issue with few spots on my curves adjustment layer (d&b skin retouching), it has a colour cast, I wanted to add a selective color adjustment layer, copy a mask from curves layer to make it easier for me to work just on these few spots, but how do I copy a mask?...02-23-2008, 05:18 PM -
Several times I stumbled upon a tutorial that states that it is simple to remove color cast by the numbers (see for instance here on this forum).
