Does anyone have any recommendations of a good flatbed photo scanner that can do 16bit as well a laser color printer that you could recommend? Preferrably I would like one that has both in one but can't seem to find one. I also don't really have a lot of knowledge in this area so any help is appreciated....04-15-2006, 10:06 PM -
Since my current scanner died, I've been researching possible replacement scanners and have pretty much settled on the Epson 2450 - unless someone gives me a good reason not to! From what I can tell, everyone who's talked about their 2450 on RetouchPRO has been really happy with it. I'm just wondering...05-29-2002, 08:36 AM

I have grasped most of the techniques for photo restoration. I am going to be doing it on the side for extra money as jobs come in. However, I am wondering what scanners you all are using, and which one would be the best. I am interested in the scan format output...Adobe RAW, JPG, EPS (preferred)....09-02-2006, 12:53 AM

I have an Epson Perfection 1650 Scanner. The last time I used it, it worked fine. I haven't used it for a while, but I dragged it out last night to set it up on my old iMac to get it ready to move over to the grandkids.
Downloaded the drivers, first scan worked fine. Then it went dead....06-06-2004, 07:25 AM -
I checked out the earlier thread about film scanners, but as this was more business orientated (too expensive!), I didn't want to clutter it up with recommendations for cheaper stuff.
