on-line classes help

Hello all a newbe here. I have been trying to decide how to take the first steps into retouching. leaning on going for the adobe photoshop cs5.
I really want classes online to learn this software starting from the very beginer level.
Does anyone have any knowledge or experiance with classes through either
e-learning by element K (this one is offerd through local community colledge)
or Lynda.com .

I'm biased, of course. But you should at least look at our archived RetouchPRO LIVE shows. I'd start with Steve Caplin's shows.

Just checked out archived shows and its overwehelming to me now but in a good way.
Happy to have stumbled onto this site.
