  • Photoshop 5 > Retouch Brush Set

I have uploaded a .zip compressed .abr Photoshop 5 or higher brush set for Mac or PC.

This is a retouching set consisting a soft/med/hard/square brushes of many sizes, suitable for the very high resolutions of print.

I am sure you will find these defaults useful.

    Regards,

    Stephen Marsh.

Wow - these are great! Thanks for sharing them Stephen. One of the things I've kept meaning to do is make some larger brushes for myself to work with - but never got around to it. These will really come in handy!

I do have one "amateur" question though. What do you use square brushes for? I know there must be a good application/technique for using square brushes, but I don't think I've ever come across it (or if I have, I haven't recognized it and plowed ahead with my round brushes.)

        Thanks, Jeanie

          Hello All,

Can anyone tell me in which of PS CS2's brush collections I would find the "Spatter Brush". (Note: I said Spatter not Splatter). Mine doesn't seem to have it

          Hi,

Thanks to reply my previous posts for D & B technique, Now I'm very well in that.

I seen somewhere i.e. DevianArt that they use brushes to make some realistic parts of the face like Hair, Eyebrow, Eyelashes, Lips etc. etc.

          I've downloaded some brushes...

          by W. Rose
          Hi,
I'm not sure if this is the place to ask this but it was the closest i could find.
Anyway, my problem is that my brushes have turned to a oblong shape in photoshop instead of round. Does anyone know where i go to correct this problem.
Thank you if anyone can help

          Creating brush tip... how?
          by pjstaley
I saw in someones palette a brush that was not the typical hard round and soft round that is default to photoshop. It began as quite small, then progressively got wider. How was that brush created, or is it a default brush in photoshop? If so, did they put it in an obscure folder somewhere on the disk...
