Corel/Procreate Painter 7 patch

I have been looking dilagently for a way to fix my P7, which crashes every time I start it, and today I found an
Udate/Patch for it. At 30meg, it's the largest patch I've ever seen, as I remember when PS was on 5 floppies, and PSP on 1 or 2, ACDSee on 1.
I haven't loaded it yet, will try Sat. Here is the link..

To me the painter series is a bit flaky, as I've had weird happenings with 6 and 7, but PSP and PS never screw up.

I have Painter 6 and haven't used it in a while but I can't remember it ever crashing on me.

There's a couple Painter links that perhaps you don't have yet and toward the middle is a solution for a common "gottcha" that many PS7 folks (including myself) tripped on -- once we got P7 to actually come up and stay up!

Those were good links though nothing on my problem.
I even joined one group. Talking Graphics. Now that I'm branching out, one isn't enough.
