  • GIMP themes (hey Lyle!)

After all this talk of Adobe CC I revisited GIMP for OSX (which I keep up to date but never use except to tinker occasionally) and started experimenting with themes. I have a set of themes downloaded and installed, but while they apply to most of the interface, they don't all apply to window or palette backgrounds (??).

Thanks anyway! I didn't try on a second machine but I wonder why I only got 75% of the theme I liked best...

Literally years in the making. Below's my assessment that I posted elsewhere already.

OK; am using samj's portable version(s) which allows me to keep 2.8.22 intact. GIMP 2.10.00 no longer supports Mathmap period (either 32-bit or 64-bit). PSPI still works but only in 32-bit version of GIMP....

Might as well be me to break the news on this forum. lol

Still waiting until Sunday for the tryout dogs to fetch out the additional bugs that weren't caught with the RC releases. Hopfully the Script-fu compatibility issues will be nipped in the bud with the final release (yes, some...

Can Photoshop and gimp exist on the hardrive with out problems?
My sister wants to learn Photoshop but does not have the funds for the program. So I thought I would check it out for her, but not if it will cause problems with my CS3 extended.

And what is Gimpshop, is it the same...

Hi Everyone. I realize that most of the threads in this forum discuss photoshop but I am wondering if anyone is using Krita? I'm using Gimp but read that Krita has a layer adjustment filter that gimp currently does not have. Can anyone give me their opinion of Krita? Is the program worth downloading...
