  • Photoshop: Automatize photo sequences

    Hi everyone.
I'm wondering if there's any way in photoshop to automatize photo sequences in one final image, without manually masking layers, I'm thinking in something like the "inversion" of median stack mode.

Is this possible? if is not, do you know some third party software that allows that?

Thank you very much in advance.

Can't endorse this software since I've never used it, but it may fit your bill.

Thanks lkroll for your reply. That software seems to do what I'm looking for although I didn't tried it yet. Anyway, I found that StarTrails software (http://www.startrails.de/html/software.html) works well doing this kind of blend even when its not astrophotography.

And the most interesting, it can be done with photoshop by choosing "lighten" as blend mode for all the layers. Darken mode works as the opposite.

This allows me to batch process by adding a simply action.

I think that this should be achievable in PS by using the Auto Align Layers followed by the Auto Blend layers command which will create a mask for each image automatically
EDITL Just realised that this way may create strange blending of the layers so better to do this way
In this article, we’ll explore how you can use the auto-align layers and auto-blend layers in Photoshop for assembling a sequence of different photos into a single multi-image composite.

This method is right if you have to do a few mask, and it is pretty close to the way I usually do, but I'm trying to automatize the process. Working with almost hundred layers its not a funny job.

I posted a way that works, not with all the images, but the result is very close to what I was looking for.

          Anyway I appreciate your colaboration.

Is it possible to take a photo that has been flattened in Photoshop and unflatten it so that the individual layers are seen again?
            Thanks

            Hi,

there is a problem I want to solve: The levels do not really work proper in Photoshop. What I mean is the change in hue and saturation - regardless if blending mode is luminosity or normal. (Only exception: the picture is BW ;-))

Does anybody of the professionals here...

Merging Layers with different Blend Modes
            by jvr
            Hi all,

I've been asked to give a retouched image with transparent background in a single layer. Just one layer with no effects, with no adjustments.

My problem is that in the retouch, I used Normal layers, multiply layers and lighten layers. When I Merge all the layers,...
