  • Have any of you ever heard of FWSim.

When I first saw the Chinese fireworks show, I was in awe and completely fooled since later, at a parallel thread that I started over a week ago, someone mentioned that the show was created using FWSim. Just had to share this pretty cool program. The layman version (simulation only) is $29.95 (there's a professional version that can actually be used to apply to real fireworks displays), but I'm cheap. lol

      How did you discover Photoshop?
      by Doug Nelson
With me it was the culmination of a half-decade search for a small business affordable image editing suite for photo restoration. I started looking in the late 80s, but it still cost in the low 6 figures to break into the industry at that point. I bought my first Windows computer (I'd been using Unix...

      Anybody here have Perculator?
      by lkroll
It's an iPod/iPad app but the guy's suppose to be working on a platform independent version (even with vector output). Don't have (nor will I) an iPod/iPad (cost reasons mainly; broke bloke I am, but not really into these gizmos anyway). Still, this is one of the coolest circle mosaic programs I've...

      Postworkshop: is this for real?
      by lkroll
Sam B at DPR introduced me to what appears to be an extremely powerful photo to art standalone program. There is a free version, but quite limited. I am so tempted to buy it ($39 after rebate), but poor bloke I am. Before taking the plunge, I want to know if anyone else here has some experience...

I'm not usually a fan of the Conan O'Brien show, but this is pretty darn funny:

I wonder if we have enough creative folk to do something similar? Find your own celebrity gene donors and post an attachment...

Haven't played with MAZE5 online in quite a while. They've added quite a few options since I last did so a few years back. Of course this is the solution of me. lol
