I'm brand new to this forum and I'm trying my best to get my head around Photoshop 7.0. I've done some things in Paintshop Pro, and was wondering if any of you Photoshop blackbelts could answer a question? I've been trying to figure out how to change the dull background of the Photoshop Work Area. Currently it's plain gray (only turn black when I switch it to Full Screen Mode).
Is it possible to change this background without changing the screen mode to full ?

I was wondering wht the differences are between paint shop pro and photoshop
Not the price but the actual program
Can you basically do everything in both or are there somethings you cannot do in paintshop pro
like curves levels etc....
