I need to recreate metalic silver lid that will be placed on a white tube. It has to be done in photoshop (no CGI). At the moment my silvers look satin. Can't get this shiny silver effect.. Is it just me or has there been a noticeable decline in the weight and quality of the descriptions handed in on submissions? I realise sometimes not many steps outside of cloning are carried out, but I miss and thought invaluable the detailed descriptions that used to accompany peoples work.

I've bought one HP2475w 24" wide gamut display and I should be really happy, but this is the second screen I am trying and so far both of them suffered from the infamous green to magenta tint on both corners of the screen...
